Power is transient, money is a necessary evil and a fruit of life, and knowledge lives with you till death, but family and friends are the roots of life. When you are in a position to help a friend or family member in need, do it.

Do not reflect on past experiences regarding family or friends who took your kindness for weakness. Just like fingers, everyone is different, and there are still good friends out there.
Remember, you can manage without fruit, but you will struggle big time to stand without roots.
