Over 7.4 million unregistered SIM cards have been cancelled by the National Communication Authority (NCA).

Calls cannot be placed or received on the more than 7.4 million SIM cards that have not been connected to the owner’s Ghana Card.
On May 31, the NCA announced that all users of unregistered SIM cards would no longer be able to make or receive calls.
This is in response to a National Communications Authority (NCA) directive.
According to the NCA’s mandate, these SIM card holders would have their numbers terminated and removed.
At a news conference conducted, NCA Director General Joseph Anokye
