I am willing to improve the quality of education in the municipality – Tano South MP hopeful pledges
The NDC parliamentary candidate for Tano South Constituency in the Ahafo Region, Honorable Charles Akwasi Asiedu has vowed his readiness to support the course of quality education in the district to ensure that well-endowed personalities are obtained from the district through effective education and training.
Hon. Charles Akwasi Asiedu, who is vying to become the member of Parliament for the Tano South constituency in the 2024 general elections has gained a lot of recognition and commendations in the constituency as a result of his continuous support and community engagement with the people and instilling some hope of socio-economic development of the municipal.
Has emphasized that he will make sure every aspect of education is well and positively tackled in the municipal with the help of his share of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) and other donors’ support to facilitate effective teaching and learning.
He Made this known during the climax of the 75th anniversary ceremony of St Joseph College of Education (JOSCO), Bechem that took place on Saturday, October 14, 2023 today at the school’s campus.
”JOSCO over the years has tutored great men and women who have contributed immensely towards the growth of our nation. It is not surprising that the National Chairman of the NDC, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah is a product of this prestigious institution”, He stated
He supported the activities of the School with Gh¢2,000 and promised to contribute his quota to the development of the school and education in the constituency at large.
During the grand Durbar of the 75th Anniversary of the school, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the National Chairman of the NDC was present, Alhaji Collins Dauda, MP for Asutifi South, Hon. Mohammed Kwaku Doku – Deputy Director Logistics/Protocol, Hon Zakari Bukari Anaaba – Former DCE Tano south, Hon Atuahene former Brong Ahafo regional Chairman NDC, Ahafo Regional Executives of the NDC together with the Tano South Constituency Executives were all present to grace the occasion.
Hon. Charles Akwasi Asiedu with his good intentions for the Tano South Municipal pleaded with the general public to vote massively for him in the 2024 general elections to secure success to support the development and growth of the municipal and the region at large.
