A flagbearer aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ken Ohene Agyapong has donated a brand new Pickup to the Ya-Na at the Gbewaa Palace.
He donated the car on Thursday, October 19. This was in fulfillment of a promise he made earlier to support the palace with the car.
“In 2020, I promised the Ya-Na a V8 Land-cruiser. Unfortunately, I have not been able to deliver that.
“I am here today to deliver a pickup to the Ya-Na to fulfill the promise I made to him during the 2020 election,” the Assin Central Member of Parliament said.
Mr Agyapong is in the Northern Region as part of his campaign ahead of the presidential primaries of the NPP on November 4.
The Ya-Na thanked Mr Agyapong for the visit and also for fulfilling his promise.
“Allah knows the best candidate who will win and bring development and peace to the country and that will develop the country, the Yaa Naa said.
The Presidential Elections Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) says the November 4th Presidential Primaries will be conducted in the party’s constituencies across the country.
