National Cathedral is not my priority – Former NPP General secretary fumes
The Former Deputy General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party, Lawyer Obiri Boahen has expressed disappointment in the Government`s decision to build a National Cathedral while the Nation lacks life support equipments.
Speaking in an exclusive interview monitored by Boaditv.com, Nana Obiri Boahen stressed that, the National Cathedral is not a priority when we lack some top most life support initiatives, such as railways and highways reconstruction.
He hinted that, there is no essence in building a cathedral when the price of treating dialysis is unbearable in the country, when even there are no adequate machines for performing a successful dialysis surgery.
He thereby urged the government to highlight on the quality healthcare delivery rather than building a cathedral.
