Fear grips residents of America Town, a suburb at Kasoa in the Awutu east municipalities as an unknown young lady believed to be in her mid-20s was killed, wrapped in a sack half naked, and dumped in an unused container in the area.
According to the Assemblyman of the area, Hon Shacdrack Boakye Yiadom, the residents raised alarm about the unpleasant scent from the direction where she was dumped and upon follow-up, they found the lifeless body in a decomposing state with her dressing bag inside the sack.
Checks further revealed that the lady was killed someplace and later dumped in the container.
The Assembly member further pleaded with the Ghana Police Service to intensify security in the area to reduce the fear of the people of America Town because similar cases have been occurring in the highly devastating area.
Some residents in the area also appealed to the police to improve the patrols in the area since the crime rate is on the rise
